Since the past 23 years, RMRC NGO has been providing education to the poor children in Kanavani. But it needs your help to sustain.

What does education mean to you? Going to classes, getting a degree, and achieving your ambitions? Well, to some, it means much more than that. It means a possibility of a better life.
Those children you see on the streets daily, begging for a few pennies, they are the ones who need it the most. Poor, helpless and abused, they have no other means to earn their life. They have seen their families do the same, and know not how to change that. But if given a chance, they would.
Which is where education comes in. It has the power to bring hope into their lives, and give them the capability to achieve their dreams.
RMRC NGO is helping several such children achieve the same, by imparting education in the Kanavani village of Indirapuram, Ghaziabad.
A Brief Background

Named after the accomplished scholar and contributor Mahapandit Rahul Sankrityayan, the school was founded in June, 1996. It was established first in Shipra Sun City and provided education to the kids within that area. But over the years, it has moved just like the villagers have, and is presently in Kanavani.
RMRC NGO
In Kanavani, Rahul Multidisciplinary Research Centre (RMRC) school started with just a piece of donated land. Children used to be taught under the sun. But now with the help of several contributors, that has changed.
Four separate classes have been made with the help of tins and shacks
There is one cemented room, where children can play indoor games and learn computer
Free books are provided for these children by NCERT
The students are also encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities. All kinds of games, events, craft lessons are organized for their all round development.

RMRC not just educates these children free of all costs, but also works towards providing them a safe and happy environment where they learn and grow.
Why AkshiNarmis Chose To Feature It
Since the last 23 years, RMRC has been working towards making child education a priority. Despite the situation it is in, Mr. Anil Pandey (Founder) ensures the school brings a light in the lives of these poor kids. But the challenges are too many to ignore. Funding, sustainability, and protecting these kids from any kind of unforeseen happenings, it is no longer a few peoples task.

Mr. Anil Pandey is worried about the plight of the school after him. He wants the school to sustain. But as of now, even the funding requirements are not being met, sustainability is a far-off dream.
“We have sent 2500 boys into proper schools till now. There are many who are doing well, have been employed at malls, in IT, repairs and maintenance of machines.” - Mr. Anil Pandey
What You Can Do
“23 years is a long time, and during this time we have succeeded in bringing a change. The parents are now willing to send their kids to school. They have seen what education can do, and are willing to invest more. But at the same time, we do not know how to continue doing the same for them.” - A Contributor
RMRC NGO needs your support to run the school for these children. While Pandey Sir and his team work on getting a sustainability plan in shape for the NGO, they still require funds to go on. And volunteers to support them in these projects. Any help that you can do as an individual, company or community will be appreciated.
